About Us – Board Members
E.W. “Skip” Carter has been involved in numerous local productions as either a producer, director or actor. For the past four years, he has been the Arts columnist for the Idaho State Journal Sunday edition, primarily reviewing theatre and film. He has a B.A. in English from Columbia University in New York City and a J.D. from the University of Tulsa. Skip is currently the President of the board of Old Town Actors Studio.
Sherri Dienstfrey, Ph.D., is in her twenty-sixth year of artistry in performance, directing, and scholarship, her first four at the University of South Alabama and twenty-two at ISU. She earned her BS from the University of Nebraska, her MA from North Dakota State University, and her Ph.D. from Kent State. During her career, Sherri has directed over 85 productions.
Jamie A. Rom
ine, Ph.D., is an Assistant Lecturer in her fifth year of teaching at Idaho State University. She completed her doctoral degree in May, 2007 in theatre, emphasis theatre for youth, from Arizona State University. She also graduated from ISU with her BA in history and a minor in theatre, with her teaching certification in Speech, Drama, and History, as well as her MA degree in Theatre. She is currently serving as Vice President of the Board.
Angeline Underwood is an Assistant Lecturer for the Theatre and Dance Department at Idaho State University. She obtained her B.S. and M.A. in Theatre from ISU. She is currently serving as Secretary for the studio.
- Bridget Close recently graduated from Idaho State University with her Masters of Arts degree in Theatre. She is currently serving as Treasurer for the studio.
